‘Naa Saami Ranga,’ starring Nagarjuna Akkineni, was the last Sankranthi Telugu movie to hit the screens. With a huge positive word of mouth, Naa Saami Ranga steadily gained a good run at the box office, considering the audience reception from the day of its release.
The movie grossed 17.8 crores in the first two days of its release. Makers of Naa Saami Ranga, who took to their social media to express their happiness over this, wrote, “Audience celebrated Sankranthi festival in theatres with #NaaSaamiRanga.”
Indicating that the second day went stronger than the release day, the makers stated, “Sankranthi KING Day 2 >> Day 1, collects MASSive 17.8 crores gross in just 2 days. #NaaSaamiRangaJaathara on Day 3 is going to be on fire.”
This Sankranthi season, Naa Saami Ranga made a bigger splash when it locked horns with Mahesh Babu’s “Guntur Kaaram,” Teja Sajja’s “HanuMan,” and Venkatesh’s “Saindhav.”
Directed by debutant filmmaker Vijay Binni, Naa Saami Ranga is an adaptation of Malayalam’s ‘Porinju Mariam Jose’. Ashika Ranganath played Varaalu, the love interest of Ranga, played by Nagarjuna. The movie has two timelines, in which Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun appear in important roles alongside Nagarjuna.
Mirnaa and Rukshar Dhillon played the female leads opposite Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun respectively. With the rural backdrop, ‘Naa Saami Ranga’ is going stronger at the box office.
Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi, ‘Naa Saami Ranga’ is bankrolled under Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner, Naa Saami Ranga boasts of having MM Keeravani on board for the musical part.
