Swathimuthyam, starring Ganesh Bellamkonda and Varsha Bollamma in the lead roles, was actually announced to be released on August 13th. But due to the heavy competition between the releases of other films, including Laal Singh Chaddha, Macherla Niyojakavargam and Karthikeya 2, the makers of Swathimuthyam decided to step back and change the release date of their film. They had already announced a couple of days back about the postponement of the release of Swathimuthyam. But they haven’t announced the new release date yet. Now, the makers of Swathimuthyam have come up with an official announcement about the updated release date.
Swathimuthyam promises to be a family entertainer, as known from the trailer and other promos of the film that have been released so far. So the makers thought that the right time for the release of the film would be during the festival season. So they opted to release the film for Dasara after the recent postponement. Swathimuthyam was announced this morning to be released on October 5th. The makers announced the same officially on their Twitter handle by sharing a new poster from the film and mentioning the release date. The makers also called Swathimuthyam a beautiful tale of Bhagyalakshmi and Balamurali.

Swathimuthyam is written and directed by Lakshman K Krishna. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi produced the film under the banner of Sithara Entertainments. Mahati Swara Sagar composed the music for the film. Suryaa is the cinematographer and Navin Nooli is the editor.
