Mahesh Babu celebrated his 47th birthday yesterday. The superstar fans gave an unimaginable and unbelievable gift to their favourite actor, Mahesh Babu, in a huge way. They arranged special shows for Mahesh Babu’s cult classic movie Pokiri across the globe. More than 200 special shows were played and the amount collected from them will be donated to the MB foundation for different activities, primarily the heart operations for the kids. This is an appreciable move from the Mahesh Babu fans. Besides this, the superstar fans also celebrated the film Pokiri in a huge way. Interestingly, behind all these, there is a secret wish from the superstar fans for Mahesh Babu.
Mahesh Babu has done some classy roles and message-oriented movies in the recent past. Starting from Srimanthudu in 2015, most of his films feature Mahesh Babu in a class avatar preaching social messages. Mahesh Babu’s last release, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, was a bit of an exception to this. Just a bit, not completely. Though the movies are all blockbusters, the superstar fans are missing something in common in all of them. They all want to see Mahesh Babu in some mass roles, at least for a couple of films. The Superstar fans want to see their favourite actor in their favourite roles, like Ajay Varma from Okkadu, Pandu from Pokiri and Surya Bhai from Businessman. Mahesh Babu gave such a sample to his fans in his last film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata. But the fans, on the other hand, want the total of it. The superstar fans have this secret wish in common and that is the reason they celebrated Mahesh Babu’s birthday only by opting for Okkadu and Pokiri for special shows. Also, the response from the superstar fans after the completion of the special shows is the same. They want to see Mahesh Babu in mass roles again.
Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movies are SSMB28 with Trivikram Srinivas and SSMB29 with SS Rajamouli. Mahesh Babu needs to surrender completely to SS Rajamouli for SSMB29, based on the character designed by India’s top director. So the fans wish to see Mahesh Babu in a mass characterisation in Trivikram’s film at least. This is not only the wish of Mahesh Babu fans, but also the entire Telugu audience.
