Husharu heroine Daksha Nagarkar won good applause for her performances in films like Hora Hori and Zombie Reddy. Now the beauty is set to enthrall the audience with a special item number in the soon releasing family-romantic drama Bangarraju, opposite Naga Chaitanya. Daksha prefers to call it a celebration song rather than a special number.
“It’s a grand festival song. It is colourful and has all the vibes and elements suitable for the Sankranti festival,” Daksha shared. She is very happy wearing the typical Telugu drape and a half-saree in the song in the Kalyan Krishna directorial.
She was confused before taking the decision to do the song but got clarity after having a word with Bangarraju director Kalyan Krishna, who explained to her the importance of this song.
Daksha Nagarkar described Chay as her first dance co-star on screen. She had a few rehearsals before the song shoot, during which Naga Chaitanya was very patient, Daksha informed. But the experience of working for the song with him was amazing, she smiled.
This bold beauty made her Tollywood debut in 2015 with director Teja’s romantic drama Hora Hori, but she acquired her maiden hit with the youthful comedy Hushaaru. She also played the female lead in director Prasanth Varma’s film Zombie Reddy, which is the first Zombie drama of Telugu film industry.
Now Daksha Nagarkar is all set to enthral the Telugu audience during Sankranthi festival with her dancing skills in Bangarraju special song. The young diva is confident about the song shot opposite Naga Chaitanya, will strike a chord with the audience. King Nagarjuna is sharing the screen for the first time with his son in Bangarraju, which is slated to hit theatres on 14th of this month.
