In the latest, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan took to their Twitter handles and conveyed their wishes to the director. Ram Charan shared a joyous picture from the sets of Acharya. Acharya stars Megastar Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. Ram Charan appears in a full fledged role as Siddha and Pooja Hegde plays Neelambari, his love interest. Sonu Sood is playing the antagonist and Jisshu Senugupta appears in a pivotal role. Mani Sharma is playing strings for the film. Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy are jointly producing Acharya under the banners of Konidela productions and Matinee Entertainment, respectively. Acharya was slated to release on May 13th, 2021 but due to a sudden surge in the Coronavirus cases, the makers postponed the release. The new official release date will be announced once the situation is normalized.
