Renu Desai Remembers Her First Day In Front Of The Camera: Painful Decision To Let Go Of My Dream

Renu Desai made her debut in the film industry with Puri Jagannadh’s directorial debut Badri, co-starring Pawan Kalyan.  The actress acted in only three films, one in Tamil and the other one with Pawan Kalyan again in Jhonny.  Love blossomed between the duo and after being in a live-in relationship for quite a few years, they entered the wedlock in 2009 and unfortunately, parted ways in 2012.

In her latest post on Instagram, the actress got nostalgic about her first day facing the camera as a 16-year-old.  Sharing a series of photos from her first-ever photo-shoot, she wrote, “9th September 1995.  It’s been 25yrs since I first faced the camera.  I wanted to either be a space scientist or a neurosurgeon since childhood and my mark sheets supported my wishes.  But, I guess destiny had other plans for me because when unexpectedly I faced the camera as a 16yr old, I fell in love with the process of film making. And as we all know the rest is history (sic.)”

She also added, “Follow your heart always and work hard and sincerely and I personally guarantee you that success and happiness will be yours! (sic.)”

But, I guess destiny had other plans for me because when unexpectedly I faced the camera as a 16yr old, I fell in love with with the process of film making. And as we all know the rest is history. It was an extremely painful decision for me as a 16yr old to let go of my dream of becoming a space scientist and joining NASA. It definitely bothered me for few years but as my love for film making grew I made peace with my love for physics and mathematics. As a director I still have to deal with “stars” albeit a little bit different ones😁 Follow your heart always and work hard and sincerely and I personally guarantee you that success and happiness will be yours!
