Sobhita Dhulipala, a Telugu woman, hailing from Vizag city in Andhra Pradesh, has become one of the popular actresses in the Indian film industry. Sobhita has acted in some amazing movies and web series like Goodachari, Made In Heaven and Ghost Stories, which bought her immense fame for impeccable performances. The actress will be next seen in the most ambitious big budget film, Ponniyin Selvan.
Speaking about working with Mani Ratnam in Ponniyin Selvan, Sobhitha said, “I grew up watching Mani sir’s films and Roja is one of my all time favourites. And to work with someone like him is truly an honour. What’s more, the film marks my Tamil debut, and I could not have asked for a better launch than this magnum opus. I just can’t wait to shoot for Mani sir’s film (sic.)”
Ponniyin Selvan has an ensemble cast but Sobhita has no qualms about her screen time. “More than the cast and screen time, I think it’s the script that matters to anyone. I can’t talk about the script, but I can say my character is very impactful, and would definitely strike a chord with the audience, she said (sic.)”

On the work front, Apart from Ponniyin Selvan, Sobhitha Dhulapali will next be seen in director Sashi Kiran’s Major. The film marks Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s debut as a producer and is inspired by the 26/11 martyr, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film stars Adivi Sesh as the leading male actor.
