The teaser of the Nagarjuna starrer Manmadhudu 2 will be released on June 13th. The movie unit took to its Twitter page to announce the news. Manmadhudu 2 is a sequel to Nagarjuna’s 2002 romantic drama Manmadhudu, which starred Sonali Bendre as the main lead opposite Nagarjuna.
Manmadhudu 2 has Rakul Preet Singh as the main lead opposite Nagarjuna, while Keerthy Suresh, Akshara Gowda and Samantha Akkineni play cameo roles.
Manmadhudu 2 is bankrolled by Annapurna Studios, Anandi Art Creations and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Chaithan Bharadwaj is the music director of the movie. Rahul Ravindran directed this sequel.
An interesting aspect of Manmadhudu 2 is, veteran actress Lakshmi plays Nagarjuna’s mother.
