- Looks: Bimbisara, Maha Samudram, 18 Pages and Sirish6
Bimbisara is the latest movie of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. The title and motion poster of Bimbisara was released this week. On the occasion of Rao Ramesh’s birthday, the makers of Maha Samudram unveiled Rao Ramesh’s look in the movie as Gooni Babji. The pre look of 18 Pages starring Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran was released and the first look will be unveiled on Nikhil’s Birthday on 1st June. The first pre look of Allu Sirish and Anu Emmanuel’s upcoming movie Sirish6 was released this week. First look will be released on 30th May on the occasion of Allu Sirish’s birthday.

- Trailer Release: Mugguru Monagallu
The trailer of Mugguru Monagallu starring Srinivasa Reddy, Deekshith Shetty and Vennela Rama Rao was released.
- OTT Time: Ek Mini Katha and 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela?
Ek Mini Katha, the comedy drama with an unusual concept skipped theatres and was released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on 27th May. Pradeep Machiraju’s 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela? Is now available for streaming on Prime Video as well.

- Movie Updates: Ghani and Paagal
Varun Tej starrer Ghani is a movie based on the sport of boxing. The makers roped in Hollywood action composers Larnell Stoval and Vlad Rimbur for crucial sequences. Vishwak Sen started and completed the dubbing for his upcoming movie Paagal.

- Postponed: Major
The Adivi Sesh starrer and biographical movie Major was all set for release on 4th July. The makers postponed the movie in light of the second wave of the Coronavirus.

The COVID word: Keerthy Suresh, Pragya Jaiswal and Jr. NTR
Actresses Keerthy Suresh and Pragya Jaiswal took the first dose of Covid 19 vaccine this week. Jr. NTR who tested positive for Covid 19 a few weeks ago, tested negative this week and has recovered.

A Sudden Demise: B. A. Raju
B. A. Raju was a well known PRO and cine journalist who was a trusted source for anything related to movies. He passed away due to cardiac arrest. Many South Indian celebrities like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Dulquer Salmaan, Jr. NTR, Kajal Aggarwal and more offered their condolences.

- Movie Anniversaries: Bujjigadu, Annamayya, Golimaar and Manam
The devotional classic, Nagarjuna starrer and K. Raghavendra Rao directorial Annamayya (1997) completed 24 years of release this week. Prabhas starrer Bujjigadu (2008) was released this week, 13 years ago. Gopichand starrer Golimaar (2010) celebrates 11 years of release. The multistarrer movie Manam (2014) completed 7 years of release.
