Chiranjeevi will be seen in an upcoming film which is a remake of the Malayali superhit movie Lucifer, which starred Mohanlal. The Rights for the remake are purchased by Ram Charan and his production company Konidela Production Company which would be bankrolling the film. Reportedly, Director Sujeeth will be directing the Telugu version of Lucifer
The latest interesting buzz about the remake is about one of Chiranjeevi’s heroines who would play his sister in this film. Yes, you read it right. There is strong buzz that either Vijayshanthi or Suhasini would play a pivotal role in this film. In the original version, Manju Warrier played the role of the sister in the film. However, nothing is officially confirmed. It will be interesting to watch Chiranjeevi with one of these heroines playing up the brother sister bond.
It is also being speculated that the Bhai of Bollywood, Salman Khan, would appear in the remake. It is believed Salman Khan would play the role played by Prithviraj in the original movie Lucifer. However, the script work of Lucifer is currently in progress and the makers might make an official announcement about this film on the same very soon.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi will complete the shooting for Koratala Siva’s Acharya and begin his shooting schedule for Lucifer.
