Telugu’s sensational hero Vijay Deverakonda, who got into fame with his movies ‘Pelli Choopulu’, and ‘Arjun Reddy’, has appeared in a bunch of other hit movies, building a solid fan base for himself. Vijay Deverakonda, who was last seen in a feel-good love story ‘Kushi’, shared the screen with Samantha. Now that he is to appear in ‘Family Star’, Vijay shares insights on life, movies, and success.
With his film, “Liger,” directed by Puri Jagannath, Vijay Deverakonda made his Bollywood debut without compromising his abilities. Vijay Deverakonda stated, “I don’t think there is anything I could change,” in response to questions about whether he would want to change anything about the movie because it didn’t work as planned.
“I was excited to work with the director and the writing, so I put my all into it. Although there are things that I cannot change and never even consider doing so, there are things that in retrospect could have been done better. I gave it a couple years of my life and then moved on from it. That is existence. You continue to work hard, and the result is unpredictable.”
He stated, “There are actually all kinds of movies being made,” in response to the notion that the South Indian film industry has gained widespread attention.
“The smaller films, such as my first picture Pelli Choopulu (2016), which was an enormous blockbuster, will still be tremendous hits even if they are released today, but they won’t be seen in the same manner as Animal or Pushpa.
“It’s a financial decision that the big actors usually do more of the larger-than-life flicks. You have to realize that everything has financial implications,” the Geetha Govindam actor said.
According to Vijay Deverakonda, he no longer identifies with the idea of success or failure. “I disassociate with the notion of success and failure”, he stated.
“It does hurt when you make these movies for people to love and enjoy and they don’t,” he stated. As part of his coping strategy, Vijay Deverakonda says he resumes his optimistic energy as soon as he begins working on his next project.
Two of Vijay’s next projects are Family Star and the untitled- VD12. Family Star is billed to be a family entertainer written and directed by Parasuram Petla, with Mrunal Thakur in the female lead role. Dil Raju is producing the movie.
