Varun Tej will be seen next in a sports drama titled Ghani. After the first look, expectations grew higher and currently Ghani is one of the most awaited films of 2021. After a long postponement due to the COVID-19, the team of Ghani resumed the shoot in January and are currently shooting in Hyderabad. Varun Tej shared a sneak peek into his life as Ghani and it is amazing!
The actor mentioned the boxing ring is his next station and is making sure to win at any cost. In the picture, one can see Varun Tej posing with his arms open in the midst of the boxing ring. Sharing the picture on social media, Varun Tej wrote, “Work station for the next few months!#Ghani Boxing glove (sic.)”
Varun Tej will be playing the role of a boxer in Ghani. The actor underwent a rigorous training schedule under the watchful eyes of boxer Tony Jeffries, an Olympic champion. Varun Tej had a punching bag installed at his home so he could continuously work on his boxing form.

Ghani has an enviable cast of Jagapati Babu and Suniel Shetty in crucial roles. The film is also a maiden production venture of Sidhu Mudda and Allu Venkatesh, under the Renaissance Pictures banner. The action sequences in Ghani will be choreographed by Larnell Stovall, known for his works in the American Civil War, Captain America and more. Music composer S.S. Thaman is composing the tunes and Ghani is slated to be released in movie theaters on July 30th, 2021.
