The Telugu film industry is seeing a noticeable change towards how it perceives new and original content. In this digital era, the consumer is not shying away from making their voice heard about what kind of content they want to watch. Small and Low Budget movies with new cast are turning out to be blockbusters as was evident with movies like Pellichupulu, C/o Kancharapalem and Mathuvadalara.
Noted Telugu director Trivikram Srinivas is also contemplating to make a small and low budget film. According to the latest buzz in the industry, Trivikram Srinivas is considering experimenting with a low budget film with a fresh and new cast. Word is also going around that Trivikram will pen a script which will be bankrolled by his production house Haarika and Hassine Creations. The movie will also be directed by a debutante.
Trivikram Srinivas’s next film will be with the Young Tiger Jr. NTR, for which shooting will commence once Jr NTR finishes his commitments for the Rajamouli epic, RRR. This will be the second time Trivikram and Jr. NTR will collaborate after Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, which was released in 2018.
Trivikram Srinivas’s last movie was the Sankranthi blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which had Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The movie broke multiple records at the box office and raked in huge collections. Ala Vaikunthapurramulo can now be streamed on popular over the top (OTT) platform Netflix.
