When we say Rana Daggubati, the image of Bhallaladeva from the Baahubali series or the young Chief Minister Arjun from Leader will immediately come to your mind. But what not many people might not know is apart from being an excellent actor Rana has a lot of experience with producing movies, entrepreneurship, visual effects and hosting television shows. While Rana is now an established actor, he began his career in the movie industry by doing visual effects. Rana only began acting five years after already establishing himself in the visual effects field.
Although Rana has made a career in the movie industry, he is also an avid comic book fan and his recently purchased stake in Amar Chitra Katha, India’s largest comic book company is proof. Rana also tied up with Anthill Ventures and launched Anthill Studios, which is a business accelerator program focused on technology startups in media and entertainment.
While Baahubali is currently the jewel in Rana’s versatile career, as he won a Nandi Award for The Best Villain, for his portrayal as Bhallaladeva, it is not Rana’s first Nandi Award. The Baahubali actor in fact won his first Nandi Award way back in 2006 for the Mahesh Babu starrer, Sainikudu. Rana won the State Nandi Award for Best Special Effects in 2006 for his work in Sainikudu.

However, that is not all, Rana had also in fact won a National Award in 2006 for the Best Feature Film in Telugu. Rana won the award for co-producing Bommalata-A Bellyful Of Dreams, a Telugu childrens film.
