The year 2021 is a fresh start for Tollywood considering the highly sad and unfortunate year they had in 2020. Last year, Tollywood was primed for a bumper year with the releases of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru. However, the dream start came to an abrupt halt because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the Indian Government shutting down movie theaters for more than nine months to check the spread of the virus.
The year 2021 however promises to be different, as the movie industry is full of hope and Tollywood has multiple releases lined up for the year. This means actors are going to have multiple movie releases for 2021. In this article we cover a list of actors who have multiple releases lined up for the year.
1) Pawan Kalyan
Pawan Kalyan is back from a long sabbatical to resume his acting career. Pawan Kalyan has two releases for this year, one of which is Vakeel Saab, the remake of Bollywood’s Pink which is being directed by Venu Sriram. The second release is the Ayyappanum Koshiyum Telugu remake which is being helmed by Sagar Chandra of Appatlo Okadundevadu fame.
2) Ram Charan
Ram Charan has two major releases lined up with one of them being the Rajamouli magnum opus RRR, in which he will be seen as Alluri Sitarama Raju. RRR is going to release on October 13th, 2021. The second movie is Acharya which is expected to release in the summer of 2021 and is being directed by Koratala Siva.
3) Ravi Teja
Ravi Teja is back to form with Krack which released in theaters during Sankranti 2021. Ravi Teja’s next movie Khiladi which is being directed by Ramesh Varma will be released on May 28th, 2021.
4) Venkatesh Daggubati
Venkatesh will be seen in Narappa, the Telugu remake of Tamil superhit movie Asuran which is going to be released on May 14th 2021. Narappa is being directed by Srikanth Addala. Venkatesh will also be seen in F3, the sequel for F2: Fun and Frustration both of which have Anil Ravipudi as the director.
5) Nani
Nani will be seen in the upcoming Shiva Nirvana directorial Tuck Jagadish which is slated for release on April 16th, 2021. After Tuck Jagadish Nani will be seen in Shyam Singha Roy which is being directed by Rahul Sankrityan is slated for a late 2021 release.
Sharwanand
Sharwanand will be seen in two movies this year which are Mahasamudram and Sreekaram. Mahasamudram is being directed by Ajay Bhupathi and will be released on August 19th, 2021 while Sreekaram is being directed by Kishore Reddy and will be released on March 11th, 2021.
Nithiin
Nithiin has three movies lined up for release in 2021. Check, which is being directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti will be released on February 19th, 2021. Rang De, which is being directed by Venky Atluri will be released on March 26th, 2021. The third movie is the untitled remake of Andhadhun.
Rana Daggubati
Rana Daggubati also has three movie releases lined up for this year with the first being Aranya which is going to be released on March 26th, 2021. The second release is the Venu Udugula directorial Virata Parvam which is going to be released on April 30th, 2021. The third release is the Ayyappanum Koshiyum Telugu remake which is being helmed by Sagar Chandra of Appatlo Okadundevadu fame.
Varun Tej
Varun Tej has two movies lined up this year with one of them being Ghani and which will release on July 30th, 2021. Ghani is being directed by Kiran Korrapati. Varun Tej will also be seen in F3, the sequel for F2: Fun and Frustration both of which have Anil Ravipudi as the director.
Sree Vishnu
Sree Vishnu is a relatively new actor in Tollywood and will star in Gaali Sampath which is helmed by Anish Krishna and which is going to be released on March 11th, 2021. Sree Vishnu will also be seen in Raja Raja Chora which is being helmed by Hasith Goli.
Naga Shaurya
Naga Shaurya will be seen as an archer in the upcoming sports drama Lakshya which is helmed by Dheerendra Santhossh Jagarlapudi and will release in 2021. The second movie is titled Varudu Kaavalenu which is being directed by Lakshmi Soujanya and will release on May 19th, 2021.
Allari Naresh
Allari Naresh was seen in the Sankranti 2021 release Bangaru Bullodu, a comedy entertainer which did well at the box office. Naresh will next be seen in a serious role for the movie Naandhi which is being directed by Vijay Kanakamedala.
Vishwak Sen
Vishwak Sen will be seen in Paagal, a romantic and youthful entertainer which is being directed by Naresh Kuppili. Paagal will release in theaters on April 30th, 2021. Vishwak Sen’s second release will be an untitled movie which has Chandini Chowdary and himself as the lead actors.
Aadi Saikumar
Aadi Saikumar’s Sashi which is helmed by Srinivas Naidu Nadikatla, would be released in theatres on March 19, 2021. Aadi’s second movie is Jungle which is slated to release in February 2021 and is helmed by Karthik Vignesh.
