Superstar Rajinikanth, who was last seen in an extended cameo in Lal Salaam, is all set to astound everyone with his mass avatar in Lokesh Kanagraj’s upcoming movie. The makers who took to their social media, disclosed the title- Coolie, along with the release of the first glimpse video, showing off Rajinikanth’s mass persona.
The teaser honors Superstar Rajinikanth’s iconic roles as coolies in Tamil films like Mullum Malarum (1978), Mannan (1992), and Uzhaipaali (1993). Lokesh Kanagaraj’s skill in including allusions to the superstar’s legendary filmography was immediately praised by his fans from all over the world.
In addition, there’s a fascinating surprise in the teaser: Rajinikanth can be heard singing Siva Sambo, a song from Tamil movie Ninaithale Inikkum (1979) that captures an exuberant lifestyle similar to the character he plays in the movie.
The anticipation is higher than it has ever been thanks to Lokesh Kanagaraj’s addition of references to a song and a discourse. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director for Coolie, while it is produced by Sun Pictures banner, the makers have kept the other details under wraps for now.
