Rajamouli has built a reputation for himself as a director par excellence because of his visual storytelling prowess. Rajamouli’s films have a gripping narrative and a story which would make anyone watching his films grip their seats in anticipation. Recently, Rajamouli revealed he could never direct Powerstar Pawan Kalyan in his movies and gave a valid reason. Rajamouli believes Pawan Kalyan’s heart lies in politics and that means Pawan Kalyan only has a few days to spare for movie commitments in a year. Rajamouli is known to take more than 2 years to make a film as he is a stickler for perfection. This difference in working styles means Rajamouli can never direct Pawan Kalyan. Rajamouli believes that it is not appropriate to ask a commitment for 2 years to someone like Pawan Kalyan who is dedicated towards working for public service.
Rajamouli and his team are currently working on Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR) which is a fictional retelling of the lives of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, both of whom are Indian freedom activists. Ram Charam would be playing the role of ALluri SItarama Raju while Jr NTR would be playing the role of Komaram Bheem. RRR even has Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt from Bollywood in important roles.
Pawan Kalyan is currently working on Vakeel Saab, a courtroom drama and a remake of the popular Bollywood film Pink. Pawan Kalyan would be marking his reentry into acting with this movie after taking a long sabbatical from acting to pursue his political ambitions with his JanaSena party.
