Major is one of the most awaited films currently in India. Every Indian and every film lover is eagerly waiting to witness how the film is made on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Kudos to Adivi Sesh and the entire Major film unit for making the film on the heroics and life of a soldier. The film is going to be released on 3rd June and the film unit is currently busy promoting the film from the last few days. As a part of the promotions, the music director of the film Major, Sri Charan Pakala spoke to the media in a recent interview and shared a few things about the movie.
Sri Charan Pakala said that his journey with Adivi Sesh is a crazy one. Both of them started their careers at the same time and worked together for the Kiss movie. The journey continued with Kshanam, Goodachari and Evaru to the upcoming release Major.
Speaking about the priority of music in Major, Sri Charan said that Sesh scripted Sandeep’s life so brilliantly and there is a huge scope for songs in the film. Sri Charan revealed that there are 4 songs in the film and all of them are situationally placed. He also said that the background score came very well.
Sri Charan revealed that the film Major has many layers. Major is a combination of action, thrilling, romantic and emotional moments. “Sesh scripted a beautiful love story in the 90s and I composed a feel good love song for the love story. It came out very well. I am thankful to Sesh for giving me this project and its dream come true for me to work for a legendary biopic. Many viewers who watched the film to date said that they had goosebumps as the film ended,” said Sri Charan.
Sri Charan hailed the singers who gave their mesmerising vocals to the songs of Major. Hrudayama was sung by Sid Sriram and Oh Isha was sung by Armaan Malik.
Sri Charan revealed that his favourite music directors are Ilaiyaraaja, AR Rahman, Mani Sharma, Koti and Keeravani.
The songs of Major that were released so far are getting an amazing response in all languages. The song Oh Isha has become a chartbuster for the youngsters.
