Sonu Sood, the man who acts all bad and heartless in movies, is actually a man with a golden heart in real life. Sonu Sood has now built a reputation as a superhero for himself during the lockdown by helping many migrant labourers and poor people. He is writing an autobiography recounting his experience of helping migrant workers during the Covid lockdown, which is titled I Am No Messiah.
Speaking about his book, Sonu Sood said, “People have been very kind and have lovingly named me a messiah. But I really do believe that I am no messiah. I simply do what my heart tells me to. It is our responsibility as human beings to be compassionate and help each other (sic.)”
The actor further said, “I want to thank god for making me a catalyst in helping the migrants. While my heart beats in Mumbai, after this movement I feel a part of me lives in the villages of UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Telugu states, Uttarakhand and various other states, where I have now found new friends and made deep connections. I have decided to put these experiences and stories that are embedded in my soul forever, in a book (sic.)”
Sonu shared the cover page of the book on Instagram while announcing that pre-order has begun. Captioning the pic, Sonu revealed that the book will tell the “story of my life, as much as it is of the thousands of migrant workers (sic.)” The book is co-written by Meena Iyer and is expected to be out in December in English and Hindi.

On the work front, Sonu Sood is currently shooting in Hyderabad for his upcoming film Alludu Adhurs, which also stars Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Nabha Natesh, Prakash Raj and Brahmaji.
