Sita Ramam and Karthikeya 2 are the two biggest blockbusters that changed the phase of Telugu cinema when the entire film industry was bearing losses due to low theatrical business. Both films were released in August, with just a one week gap between them. Sita Ramam gave the audience the experience of a beautiful love story. Karthikeya 2, on the other hand, received national acclaim for providing the audience with the best action and adventure thrills. Nikhil Siddhartha and Chandoo Mondeti delivered a blockbuster sequel. Both Sita Ramam and Karthikeya 2 were well received by audiences in theatres and later on OTT.
