Shyam Singha Roy: Sai Pallavi And Krithi Shetty Join The Cast Of This Nani-Starrer

Natural Star Nani is on a spree to entertain his fans with back to back movies. One such upcoming film of his is Shyam Singha Roy which was announced on the eve of Nani’s birthday (February 24th.) Shyam Singha Roy is touted to be a period drama and a major part of the movie is supposedly based in Kolkata.  The leading lady of this film was always in the news and now the makers have officially announced the leading ladies of the Nani-starrer.

Nani starrer Shyam Singha Roy will feature Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty as the leading ladies.  Welcoming them on-board, Nani wrote on his social media, “అందరికీ విజయ దశమి శుభాకాంక్షలు … Welcoming team #SSR on this very special day. @Sai_Pallavi92 @IamKrithiShetty @Rahul_Sankrityn @MickeyJMeyer @SVR4446 @vboyanapalli @NiharikaEnt.” (sic)  On the occasion of Dussehra, a poster from the film was also released and it shows Nani’s silhouette image with goddess Durga and the Howrah bridge of Kolkata in the background.  The pre-look created much intrigue by making everyone wonder if the film will be a period drama.

Shyam Singha Roy is bankrolled by S. Radha Krishna under Sithara Entertainments Banner and will be directed by Rahul Sankrityan.  The film’s story is penned by Satyadev Junga and Mickey J Meyer will be composing the music. The shooting of the film is likely to begin next year in February after Nani wraps up the shoot of Tuck Jagadish.

Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi is currently shooting for her upcoming Telugu film Love story, co-starring Naga Chaitanya.  Krithi Shetty is yet to make her debut in Telugu with debutant Buchi Babu Sana’s Uppena, which will also mark the debut of Vaisshnav Tej. The film’s shooting and post-production are wrapped up and release is awaited.
