The Telugu film industry saw many positive developments and the makers of various Telugu films finally announced the release dates of their projects. Amongst was the date of Mahesh Babu-starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
Star filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited period drama RRR: Roudram Ranam Rudhiram is releasing on March 25th, the remaining makers disclosed that they have mutually agreed to come a month after the film. As a result of which, Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movie is scheduled to release on May 12th.
The makers of Sarkaru Vaari Paata shared a new poster of Mahesh Babu on Monday to announce the new release date of the film. In the poster, the Bharat Ane Nenu actor is seen relaxing on a couch in a super-cool pose. The poster was captioned, “Date for the AuCTION is locked! #SarkaruVaariPaata worldwide release on May 12,” the makers tweeted.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata was first scheduled for a release during Sankranthi festival on 14th January, which was postponed due to the onset of the pandemic. The makers announced another release date as April 1st, 2022. But as a result of the healthy discussions among movie makers to avoid unnecessary competition and complications, the movie based on a banking scam is now hitting the theaters on May 12th.
Besides Mahesh Babu, Sarkaru Vaari Paata star cast includes Keerthy Suresh, Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore and Subbaraju. It is jointly produced by GMB Entertainments in association with Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Plus. On the work front, Mahesh Babu also has a movie lined up with Trivikram tentatively titled SSMB28 starring Pooja Hegde as female lead. SS Thaman is scoring the music for both these movies. It is reported that the Super Star has also joined hands with SS Rajamouli for a project.
