S.S Rajamouli’s reputation as a director par excellence is well known in the Telugu states and with the Baahubali series, Rajamouli garnered a pan Indian reputation as a skilled director. After the huge success of Baahubali, Rajamouli announced another magnum opus and a period drama Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR) which stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. Rajamouli has earlier worked with both Ram Charan and Jr NTR before RRR.
RRR gained a lot of popularity even before the movie released in theaters mainly because of its ensemble cast and the plot. The cast is highly versatile and has stars from multiplemovie industries like Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Alison Doody, Olivia Morris and Ray Stevenson to name a few. Ajay Devgn already finished his first schedule of shooting for RRR in Hyderabad.

Alia Bhatt would be joining the sets to begin her shooting schedule once the lockdown lifts and if the gossip going around is true, she charges a jaw dropping remuneration for her time. Alia Bhatt charged 5 crore rupees for 10 days of shooting which means a whopping 50 lakh rupees per day. There is no official confirmation from anyone however, but this might make Alia Bhatt one of the highest paid actresses of the film industry.
RRR is being directed by S.S. Rajamouli is a fictional retelling of the lives of Indian freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. DVV Entertainment is producing RRR while M.M Keeravani is composing music for the film.
