With numerous calls coming in and a number of female fans waiting to get connected, RJ Potugadu takes charge of the situation and entertains Hyderabad, a city known for its huge number of radio listeners.
Tallapaka Dinesh Reddy , popularly known RJ Potugadu, is one of the most adored and admired radio jockeys (RJs) of Radio City 91.1. With a huge listener base and numerous callers who dial to the station repeatedly just to chat with him, RJ Potugadu is more than just a voice behind the mic. A passionate worker and a talented actor, RJ Potugadu discovered the ways and means to reach the audience he always wanted to address. With witty comebacks and engaging discussions on some of the most controversial issues, RJ Potugadu has the listeners hooked to his show and wrapped around his little finger. RJ Potugadu recently interviewed Ram Charan, popularly known as Mr. C, who pleasantly surprised the RJ by stating RJ Potugadu was his favourite RJ.
However, RJ Potugadu is now all set to become an actor. Nursing the dream of becoming an actor and a burning desire to see himself on the big screen, Dinesh started his career as a RJ. However, Dinesh claims, it was no compromise to become a radio jockey as he enjoyed his work tremendously and that is what paved the way to his big dream. The RJ turned actor strongly believes in the statement ‘Dreams do come true’ and though it took him 9 years to get the break for which he yearned, he stated, in the end, it was all worth the wait.
RJ Potugadu is now all set to work on his first major project as an actor, Kadal (pronounced as Kaadal). Kalyanji Gogana, the director of the sensational movie Natakam, is working on this upcoming project, while Kasim and Srivalli Chaitanya are producing it, under the banner of J. K. Creations. The cinematography department is handled by Anji Garuda Vega. Mani Sharma, the musical genius is handling the music of Kadal.
The cast of Kadal comprises of mostly fresh faces and young talent, such as Chitra Shukla, Devi Prasad, Rakendu Mouli and RJ Potugadu. However, some noted actors such as Bhanu Chander and Rupa Lakshmi are also a part of this sensational project.
Revolving around a young couple and their journey as two souls who are meant for each other, Kadal is an interesting love story which is set back in the year 2004. Shot in a completely different perspective and with a different take on relationships, Kadal is one hell of a movie to watch this season. RJ Potugadu plays a vital role in this project as the story will be narrated from his point of view.
