RC15 and Indian 2 are the upcoming movies of Kollywood’s top director Shankar. It is known to us all that Indian 2 is the sequel of the blockbuster movie Indian by the duo of Shankar and Kamal Haasan. The film was started long back and later got halted due to COVID and other reasons. Meanwhile, Shankar did not take any break and shifted to RC15, his political-based movie with Ram Charan. Yesterday, Shankar announced that the shooting of Indian 2 is resumed again. Many doubts were raised by Ram Charan fans that Shankar is going to halt RC15. Well, Shankar gives a clarified update about RC15.
Shankar took his Twitter yesterday to officially announce that both RC15 and Indian 2 will be shot simultaneously. He clarified that the resume in the shooting of Indian 2 will not affect or halt the production of RC15. The next schedule of RC15 will be starting from the first week of September as stated by Shankar. The schedule will take place in Hyderabad and Vizag.

Shankar is currently shooting an important sequence for Indian 2 in Chennai. Kajal Aggarwal, Bobby Simha and Siddharth are the actors taking part in this schedule. Kamal Haasan will join the Indian 2 production in September after he returns from the US. Indian 2 is being produced by Giant Movies in association with Lyca Productions. RC15 is being made by Sri Venkateswara Creations. Both RC15 and Indian 2 are pan-Indian movies and both are being targeted for release in 2023.
