Baahubali star Rana Daggubati shared a super sensational news for his fans and audiences. The new year is going to be a big one for Rana, as he is going to be seen in prestigious projects like Bheemla Nayak with Pawan Kalyan and Virata Parvam with Sai Pallavi. But there is yet another reason in store for his excitement. For the first time ever, Rana is teaming up with his uncle, Telugu star hero Victory Venkatesh.
Venakatesh and Rana are acting together in the web series Rana Naidu, which is coming soon on Netflix. Though not on the big screen, the uncle and son duo are going to share the screen for an upcoming web series, based on a popular American American TV series Ray Donovan.
Responding to the announcement, Venkatesh said, “Rana Daggubati grew up right in front of me from a young boy to a fine actor. But in Rana Naidu he better watch out.” Uncertainty is looming around the theatrical release of movies due to a spike in COVID-19 cases, and OTT is filling the gap, opined Rana.
“From the beginning of my career as an actor, I have craved to work with my uncle. I also know that when we act together, that will not be a regular film for sure. We want our association to be different and cool. When I got this opportunity, I just felt like- “This is the one!”. It is going to be very special.” thrilled Rana shared.
