Virata Parvam is an upcoming Tollywood movie in which Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi will be seen as the leading stars. The movie has been creating quite a buzz due to its storyline which is supposed to be based on naxalism which was highly prevalent in Andhra Pradesh during the 1990s. Three posters have been released so far by the makers of Virata Parvam which gave us glimpses into the looks of Rana Daggubati, Sai Pallavi and Priyamani.
Priyamani will be seen in a supporting role as Comrade Bharatakka who is a naxalite as was evident in the first look poster which was released by Rana Daggubati recently on the occasion of Priyamani’s birthday. According to the latest reports about the movie, Priyamani is going the extra mile to get into the character of Comrade Bharatakka as she is taking lessons from an ex naxalite. The goal is for Priyamani to get into the skin of Bharatakka so she could understand the living conditions and operating procedures of the naxalites.

Sai Pallavi will be playing the role of a country singer for Virata Parvam while Rana Daggubati will be playing the role of a naxal leader. Directed by Venu Udugula, the film also has Nanditha Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareen Wahab, Eeswari Rao, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Sai Chand in key roles.
Priyamani will also be seen in the highly anticipated Daggubati Venkatesh starrer Narappa, which is a remake of the critically acclaimed Tamil superhit movie Asuran, which had Dhanush as the lead. Priyamani will be playing the role of Narappa’s wife Sundaramma and a first look for the same was released on the occasion of Priyamani’s birthday.
