Suresh Productions, the top production house of Tollywood, bought the remake rights of Maanaadu, as known to us all. The makers themselves announced this update long ago. Now with Naga Chaitanya revealing about Rana making the project Maanaadu, the Telugu audience take the update as confirmed news. Maanaadu is a blockbuster science fiction action thriller in Tamil. The film grossed over 130 crores at the box office.
The speculation here is that if Rana plays the role of Simbu, then who would play the role of SJ Suryah? Chay and Rana fans wish for Chay to be seen in SJ Surya’s role. Or even the reverse is expected. Chay to play Simbu’s role and Rana to play Suryah’s role. The most interesting thing here is that Chaitanya’s upcoming movie, NC22, was announced with the director Venkat Prabhu, who made the film Maanaadu. So, as per the expectations, NC22 could be Maanaadu. Not sure enough. The wait continues until any official update is out.
