He is now busy with a few lineup films, including his upcoming film Jailer. The film stars Rajinikanth in the titular role and also has an extended star cast. Nelson Dilipkumar is the writer and director of the film. This Tamil-language action comedy film will have a worldwide release in multiple languages on August 10, 2023. The makers have already released the first single from the film, Jailer, which is titled Kaavaalaa. The song Kaavaalaa features the beautiful Tamannaah Bhatia.
Today, the makers of the Jailer movie have announced the release of the second single from the film, which is titled Hukum. This was announced with a motion poster of the film hinting that it might be Rajinikanth’s song. The song will be released on July 17, 2023.

Kalanithi Maran produced the film under Sun Pictures. The theatrical distribution rights for Jailer in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are with Asian Cinema. Mohan Lal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Mirna Menon, Tamannaah, Vasanth Ravi, Naga Babu, Yogi Babu, and others play important roles in the film. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music. Vijay Kartik Kannan is the cinematographer, and R. Nirmal is the editor of the film.
