Prema Katha Chitram 2 Telugu Movie Review

Prema Katha Chitram 2, a movie which was gaining a lot of attention from the audience owing to its fantastic teaser and trailer cuts is now in theatres. With a unique storyline and subtle references to Prema Katha Chitram, the prequel which came out in 2013, Prema Katha Chitram 2 is winning the hearts of the audience this time as well.

Story:
The story of Prema Katha Chitram 2 revolves around a college student, Bindu(Siddhi Idnani) who falls in love with Sudheer (Sumanth Ashwin). However, Sudheer is deeply in love with Nandu (Nandita). When Bindu gets to know this, she is deeply hurt and dejected. Unable to bear rejection, she ends her life. Meanwhile Sudheer and Nandu decide to get married. They decide to spend some time together and that is when strange things start happening in the location they choose for their lone time. They come to know that Bindu, who loved Sudheer with all her heart is back as an evil spirit. She enters Nandu’s body and creates havoc in Sudheer and his friends lives. What does Sudheer do in order to save Nandu? Will he be able to bring Nandu back? The answers to these questions is the essence of Prema Katha Chitram 2.

Performances:

• Siddhi Idnani is undoubtedly the star of the movie. She carried her role with utmost grace and was subtle yet impactful in her performance.
• Nandita deserves a round of applause for her bold and powerful acting. She carried the whole script on her shoulders throughout the movie.
• Sumanth Ashwin did a good job in Prema Katha Chitram 2.
• Vidyullekha put up a tremendous performance and earned quite a number of laughs throughout the movie.

Positives:

• Apt choice of cast and crew helped the movie to a large extent.
• Great cinematography. The cinematographer C. Ram Prasad deserves due credit for the movie.
• Good comedy kept the movie light and entertaining to a large extent.

Negatives:

• The implementation of the script was poor and needed more attention to detail.
• The first half was quite hazy which made the movie boring to a certain extent.
• A few comedy scenes were overdone and can be toned down a bit.

Conclusion:
Prema Katha Chitram 2 is overall a good movie to watch. For all those who love the different and unique storyline, Prema Katha Chitram 2 is a must watch!
