Sai Tej is a young actor who is trying his best to be versatile with his choice of movies for the past year. His Chitralahari was well received by the audience during the first half of 2019.
Now, Sai Tej collaborated with director Maruthi for Prati Roju Pandaage.
The movie created a positive buzz with its plot, which is based on family values.

Story:
Raghuramaiyya (Sathyaraj) is a resident of Rajamahendravaram and his children live in the United States of America and Australia. Once, during a health checkup, doctors inform Raghuramaiyya he is at an advanced stage of lung cancer and will only live for 5 weeks, at the most. Hence, he informs his children about his health condition. Every one of them, including his elder son (Rao Ramesh,) comes up with an excuse to skip the trip to India. However, one of Raghuramaiyaa’s grandsons, Sai (Sai Tej,) arrives in Rajamahendravaram to make his grandfather happy for the rest of his living days.
How does Sai do this? This is depicted during the second half of the movie.
Review:
Prati Roju Pandaage wins hands down for its theme of family values, which is the need of the day. Taking care of the elders who bring up their children and making them feel comfortable till they die is an issue to which many youngsters of this age do not pay attention.
Sai Tej worked on his dialogue delivery and expressions very well, as is seen in this movie. He excels in the emotional scenes and also in the love scenes with his partner, Angela Aarna, played by Raashi Khanna. Sathyaraj and Sai Tej share great chemistry and have an ease with which they do comic scenes.
Raashi Khanna, as TikTok Queen Angel Aarna, impresses in this movie, not only as an actress but also as a singer who reserves her best for special numbers. Her TikTok Queen avatar is hilarious and gives her scope to excel at comedy. Thaman’s music is apt for the rural setting and switches to urban sounds in scenes depicting Sai Tej’s city life. Thaman has been a versatile composer this year, by catering to various genres of music for more than a half dozen movies of 2019.
The supporting characters, played by Rao Ramesh and Saraswathi Pradeep amongst others, are really good and get registered in the audience’s minds.
Maruthi should be commended for choosing a bold theme and making it a fun ride. Prati Roju Pandaage is a pre Christmas gift to the audience.
