Pooja Hegde is one of the busiest actresses in the film industry with two big Telugu movies, which is the Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam and the Akhil Akkineni starrer, Most Eligible Bachelor. While Radhe Shyam is a periodic love story, Most Eligible Bachelor is a new age love story. Pooja Hegde is juggling between both the characters and shoots to keep her upcoming season busy.
Pooja Hegde revealed about the experience of shooting for Radhe Shyam in Italy during the second surge of the COVID-19 pandemic. The actress said, “We lived in a different world before this. The way we greet someone has changed today and also the way we film. We were getting tested every five days, it’s amazing we could pull off schedule in such difficult times (sic.)”
Pooja Hegde describes co star Prabhas as a ‘fun and goofy person.’ She said, “The producers are his friends, so, Prabhas was in a comfortable place and not as shy as he appears in interviews (sic.)”

Asserting that language is no longer a barrier, Pooja Hegde said, “I’ve worked in several Telugu films and have been accepted by that industry as one of their own. Being from Mumbai, I love Hindi films. It feels good to be able to work in both languages because I always wanted to be known as an Indian actress (sic.)”
Pooja Hegde’s Radhe Shyam is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. The film is being made simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, while being dubbed in Tamil and Malayalam. Radhe Shyam is expected to release in 2021. Pooja Hegde is also waiting for the release of Most Eligible Bachelor, which is set to hit theatres for Pongal 2021. This film is directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar.
