“To do the same thing every day, and to live life on repeat, what is the point of having such a long life? We must make the most of our time while on Earth,” Ram Charan’s swashbuckling character thunders in the First Shot of Peddi. The Release Date Glimpse is out with a bang.
To be released in theatres on March 27th, 2026, the film’s cricketing backdrop is evocative. At about one minute long, the First Shot packs a punch and hits a sixer. The Global Star seems to be harnessing the raw prowess of his Rangasthalam character and the magnetism of his RRR epic character.

Vriddhi Cinemas, Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings have landed a terrific glimpse video for Peddi. Director Buchi Babu Sana’s creative prowess shows. The staging is arresting. AR Rahman’s score is effective.
The video was preceded by a poster in which Charan was portrayed in a rugged and powerful avatar. He was shown mid-action, lunging forward with a fierce expression. His body language suggests strength and determination, fitting the film’s sports drama theme set in 1980s rural Andhra Pradesh. The earthy, rugged atmospherics match the rustic aesthetic in the glimpse. Ram Charan is seen carrying the weight of expectations of his community on his shoulders, adding to the impression of raw physical power and resilience.
Divyendu Sharma has a major role. Janhvi Kapoor of Devara fame is the heroine. Jagapathi Babu and Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar will be essaying crucial roles in the movie. RC16 has cinematography by Rathnavelu and art direction by Avinash Kolla.
