Rana and Miheeka began their first function towards the wedding with a Roka Ceremony yesterday along with their families in a lowkey affair. Close family members like Naga Chaitanya, Samantha Akkineni, Venkatesh Daggubati, his daughter Aashritha and few more attended the Roka ceremony. The family members have been posting family and couple pictures on social media by calling it the best moment of everyone’s lives.

This morning Samantha posted a family picture along with the lovely couple with a caption of thankfulness towards 2020 for bringing them all this best news. In the same post, Venkatesh’s daughter Aashritha also said the same in the comments that Rana and Miheeka engagement is truly the ‘BEST’ news.

The film was slated to be released on April 2 but had to be rescheduled due to the ongoing Corona crisis.

It is a well-known reality that COVID 19 lockdown affected business to individual lives, everything just stopped for a while. Now, the government of India is trying to ease out certain restrictions so as people can live their lives comfortably even in the lockdown. Amidst several other industries which were affected, one important industry which was and will continue to be affected is the film industry.

While few state governments like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have granted permissions to begin post-production works, nothing about the shooting and reopening of theatres is cited anyway. Appears like it is going to take some time too, cause social distancing is the only way to stop the spread of this pandemic.

Producer Suresh Babu : We have requested to allow Post-production activities to help Films planning to sell OTT and Satellite Rights. Not in a hurry to open theatres and any attempts to speed up the process might prove counterproductive!.

In Telangana, the government has already released a statement that for the next two months, theatres will not be reopened at any cost. It is now being reported that filmmakers in Telugu too have seeked permission to resume post-production works. Producer Suresh Babu says, “We have requested to allow Post-production activities to help Films planning to sell OTT and Satellite Rights. Not in a hurry to open theatres and any attempts to speed up the process might prove counterproductive.”

Few Telugu, Tamil and Hindi movies have already opted for OTT as the channels are offering a hooping amount to the producers to release their movies directly on OTT channels. If noticed considerably, the entire industry, actors, filmmakers and producers and the most important, daily wage cine workers are definitely at the stake due to the pandemic.

From the suspension of movies’ shootings to the shutdown of cinema halls, COVID-19 episode has ruined everything from when the lockdown was announced. As of late, the Tamil Nadu government and Andhra Pradesh government recently conceded consent to the movie producers to continue pre-production works of their upcoming movies. Presently, to discuss this, Tollywood biggies along with Minister of Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav visited Chiranjeevi’s home to talk about COVID-19 dangers.

However, the government of Telangana recently released a statement saying that for next few months the theaters will completely be shut down to avoid large gatherings and maintain total social distance. Manchu Manoj Helps Migrant Labour With Transport And Basic Commodities

Manchu Manoj is known as the one of the most helping and purest souls in Telugu film fraternity. The actor is helping out the migrant workers, who have suffered the most due to the lockdown. This pandemic has brought their lives to the streets as many rendered jobless and couldn’t afford food, shelter and other basic commodities. While, many labourers have been walking miles on foot to reach their homes which has been resulting in deaths by road accidents, exhaustion and even hunger.

To help out such daily wage labourers from suffering, Manchu Manoj started an initiative to provide them with basic commodities and transport to reach them safely to their home towns. Announcing this on social media, he wrote, “Finally, got permissions from central government for arranging buses to the migrant workers who are struggling a lot to reach their homes I am Happy to announce that 2 buses will be starting today from Hyderabad at 6 pm and planning to expand the service in the coming days I request everyone to do ur bit. Together we can send them all home safely.” The buses are to ply from Hyderabad to Srikakulam. He has also made sure that everyone travelling has been provided with masks, sanitisers and food.

However, once Rana announced the news, wishes began pouring in for the couple and Suresh Daggubati, Rana’s father said that both the families about the news and that they would begin wedding preparations as soon as possible. However, latest reports suggest that Rana and Miheeka will get officially engaged in a very low key affair limited to close family members. The plot of the movie is about how Bandev goes up against a corporate company aiming to take over forest land which is frequented by elephants. The movie is a classic tale of good versus evil but it would be presented in a fresh manner. Rana underwent a dramatic physical transformation in order to do justice to the role of Bandev.
