Despite the Coronavirus scare, Nani entertained the audience in 2020 as an antagonist in V. Now, in 2021, the actor has a slew of movies, one such upcoming movie of his is Shyam Singha Roy, directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The film features Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty and Madonna Sebastian as the leading ladies. The shooting of the film is currently proceeding at a brisk phase.
As the film is set in Kolkata, the team of Shyam Singha Roy flew there to begin a new shooting schedule. Nani, Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty and Madonna Sebastian will take part in this lengthy Kolkata schedule. The major portions of the film will be shot during this schedule.
Shyam Singha Roy was officially launched in December and recently the team wrapped up a schedule in Hyderabad. Shyam Singha Roy was scheduled to release on December 25, 2021, as a Christmas Special, but was postponed due to Coronavirus lockdown. Reportedly, the film has now been pushed to release in Summer 2022.

The film also features Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma and Abhinav Gomatam in key roles. This film is bankrolled by Venkat S. Boyanapalli under the banner Niharika Entertainments. The story of the film is penned by Satyadev Junga and Mickey J. Meyer will be composing the music. Shyam Singha Roy is touted to be a period drama and will feature Nani in a unique avatar, which has never been seen before!
