The film Ante Sundaraniki is going to offer the Telugu audiences, the vintage Nani back. The film is going to be released on 10th June. Nani is one of the best actors who has a very great comedy timing with natural performance in Telugu. Nani did some serious characters in his films V, Jersey and Shyam Singha Roy in the recent past. Now he is back with a perfect entertaining character Sundar Prasad in the film Ante Sundaraniki. Also Nani said in the trailer launch event that Ante Sundaraniki will be a huge family entertainer in Telugu after the audiences witnessed back to back action films in recent times. The film’s promotions were started very recently and as a part of the promotions, Nani shared many interesting things about the film in a recent interview.
Speaking about the film’s director Vivek Athreya, Nani said that Vivek is one of the very best promising directors for the future in Telugu. He has some originality in his stories and only he could handle such types of stories. Nani is very happy to collaborate with Vivek for Ante Sundaraniki. Nani also added that his decision to make a film with Vivek is out of his gut feeling. He also reminded of his past that many gave him opportunities when he was a beginner in the industry. Nani would like to do the same now and give opportunities to many young directors.
Nani revealed that his character and comedy timing in the film Ante Sundaraniki will be very different from the characters he played to date. “I can’t bring out my original comedy timing in the film. The comedy timing came out from Sundar’s character written by Vivek Athreya,” said Nani. He also said that Vivek coming from a Brahmin family helped him a lot for the character. Nani used to take many suggestions from Vivek to bring out the best for the character.
Nani also revealed his character traits. “Sundar Prasad is not at all innocent. He is a very bad fellow. But he covers up that all with his innocence. So Sundar is an innocent cunning fellow,” said Nani about his character in the film.
Speaking about Nazriya Fahadh, Nani said that it was a mutual decision from him and Vivek to cast Nazriya for the role of Leela Thomas. They felt a bit worried in the beginning whether she would accept the role or not, as they were very much aware of Nazriya rejecting a lot of big projects. But to their surprise, Nazriya felt very excited to play the role of Leela Thomas and she immediately accepted the role.
Nani spoke about his most recent favourite films. He said that he loved the film Jai Bhim very much and he wanted to do such kinds of roles and films in Telugu.
