Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, who captivated the audience with their on-screen chemistry in Shekhar Kammula’s ‘Love Story’, have come together for Chandoo Mondeti’s upcoming movie ‘Thandel’.
The most recent information we have from Thandel‘s sets is that filming is proceeding quickly. Additionally, reports have it that the crew, which is filming some significant scenes in Hyderabad, celebrated a staff member’s birthday on the sets. Social media users have been sharing a video that features the same.
According to the description, Thandel is the true account of a group of fishermen who went missing at sea, were found by the Pakistani Navy, and spent a lengthy time behind bars in Pakistan. The team is reportedly filming key scenes in BHEL, Hyderabad, where an authentic Pakistani jail set has been constructed for filming.
Thandel is the third collaboration between director Chandoo Mondeti and actor Naga Chaitanya. In the film, Naga Chaitanya portrays a fisherman named Thandel Raju, from the Srikakulam area. Sai Pallavi plays Naga Chaitanya’s love interest in the movie.
Thandel is presented by Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts and produced by Bunny Vasu. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the film’s tunes while Shamdat is the cinematographer.
From the moment of its announcement, “Thandel” has been generating talk about itself.
