Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao are the two super legends of Telugu cinema who will be remembered in the hearts of the Telugu people forever. The Telugu people treat and respect them as demigods even today. That is the greatness of the two late, legendary actors. During their period, NTR and ANR always had respect for each other. The same was passed down to the next generation. Nandamuri Balakrishna and Akkineni Nagarjuna are also good friends with each other currently, and they mutually respect each other’s work.
Recently, Balakrishna participated in the success celebrations of his latest film, Veera Simha Reddy. We all know that Balakrishna is a huge disciple of his father, NTR, and he mostly talks about his father on various occasions. One such occasion was yesterday’s event. Well, Balayya slipped his tongue a bit while comparing his father, NTR, with the contemporaries of those times, ANR and SVR (SV Ranga Rao). Though these comments from Balakrishna were not intentional and slipped out of something just like that, they hurt the feelings of Akkineni’s family and fans. The grandsons of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Naga Chaitanya, and Akhil responded to Balakrishna’s comments, saying that NTR, ANR, and SVR are the legendary actors and pride of Telugu cinema. The Akkineni brothers also stated that the personalities and contributions of NTR, ANR, and SVR should be respected forever.
On the other hand, the Akkineni fans are also not tolerating Balayya’s comments. Many are awaiting Balakrishna’s statement correcting his comments made yesterday.
