- Rakshasudu (Ratsasan)
This action thriller is the biggest hit for young hero Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, who played a cop who solves the reason behind the mysterious deaths of school girls. Rakshasudu was a remake of the Tamil hit Ratsasan which had a terrific act by Vishnu Vishal.

- Drushyam (Drishyam)
The successful remake of the Malayalam original Drishyam, which starred Mohanlal in the lead, was a hit in Telugu with Venkatesh and Meena playing the lead roles. The movie had a unique story plot, which showed a murder drama, in new light. Drishyam was remade in four different languages, including Hindi,Tamil and Kannada.

- Evadu Thakkuva Kadu (Goli Soda)
This revenge drama about five youngsters was remade in several languages, including Telugu. Evadu Thakkuva Kadu had a good ensemble performance overall. The movie was remade in Kannada, with the name, Golisoda.

- Pedarayudu (Nattamai)
This classic Rajinikanth movie in Telugu remains an example of how to make a good family drama. Sarath Kumar set the benchmark in Tamil with Nattamai, which Rajnikanth did in Telugu with his inimitable style. Mohan Babu played the role of Pedarayudu in this movie, which is noted for his dialogue delivery. This film is still regarded as a Mohan Babu classic.
This movie gave a lifeline to Mohan Babu to make movies further.

This breezy urban love story featuring Pawan Kalyan was a remake of the Saif Ali Khan movie Love Aaj Kal. Trisha Krishnan was the lead to Pawan in this movie which was extensively shot in North India.
The movie was noted for the comic timing of Pawan Kalyan in his scenes with Paresh Rawal and Sonu Sood. Pawan Kalyan’s chemistry with Trisha, too, clicked in a big way.

- Chandralekha (Chandralekha)
Chandralekha was a remake of the cult Malayalam hit of the same name. While the original version was directed by Priyadarshan and starred Mohanlal, the remake was directed by Krishna Vamsi and featured Akkineni Nagarjuna in the lead. The Telugu version was noted for Brahmaji’s and Nagarjuna’s collaborative comedy.
The remake introduced Brahmaji and his association with Krishna Vamsi, the director of the remake, continued from that day.
