Mithai, a movie creating a sensation owing to its unique promotions and all the more exceptional story, released a lyrical video, today. With a group of old city ladies and an exceptionally catchy tune and refreshingly new lyrics comprising old Hindi, The Dirty Song revolves around the adventures of Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna.
These days, the old and traditional harmonium is hardly used. However, this song from Mithai is special and the harmonium is the instrument which provides the background music for this song. The Dirty Song kicks off with “Saali ke baag ko jaana,” a dholak song picked up from the streets of Old City in Hyderabad.
The song was hummed by Hafiza B., Sahera, Sulthana and Habedha, who are typical Hyderabadi singers. Prashant Kumar is the director of Mithai, while Dr. Prabath Kumar is producing it, under the banners of Red Ants.
