Makers Of KGF Chapter 1 To Sue A Local Telugu Channel For Airing The Film Illegally

KGF has been the most popular and trendiest film from the industry but recently the film faced had to experience unwanted hazard in the form of piracy as the movie was leaked on a local Telugu channel.The team is yet to finalize the Telugu satellite business, but before that, a local channel has already aired the movie.

KGF Creative Producer Karthik Gowda shared an image of the film wrongfully played and stated, “A Telugu local channel named #Every is playing KGF film illegally. We will move legally against them and sue for their actions. While the satellite deal is on talks and almost finalised, a cable channel does this. We have ample proof of screenshots, videos of the same.”

 KGF : Chapter 1 was released on an OTT channel Amazon Prime but has not aired on television till today as the makers are still in talks with television satellites about it. The producer further stated in the tweet, “It will play soon. Deal was almost closed when covid started. Talks have restarted, so we shud close soon.” KGF is directed by Prashanth Neel starring Rockstar Yash, the Chapter 1 was released in 2018, became the biggest blockbuster and now the sequel of this film is on the way. The pan Indian film released in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada.

Currently, KGF: Chapter 2 is in the last stage of production, and the team has already announced the release date on October 23. But it is said that due to lockdown the release might get postponed for December. Anyway, the official announcement is yet to be made. Apart from Yash, the film will also feature Sanjay Dutt, Raveena tandon in pivotal roles.
