The wishes come with an additional message to avoid gathering in crowds which is a safety measure. India and the rest of the world are currently battling a viral epidemic named as the Covid-19 (Corona) outbreak. The virus spreads via droplets from sneezing/coughing of an infected person. Being in a crowd increases the probability of contracting the disease. As Holi is usually celebrated by throwing colors in a crowd of family and friends, keeping this in mind, Mahesh Babu advises caution for this year’s Holi celebrations.
