Mahanati Completes An Epic Year

Mahanati the biopic on the first South Indian lady Superstar Savitri, released on May 9th, 2018, completed an eventful year on the 9th May, 2019. Starring Keerthy Suresh in a lifetime role as the epoymous actress Savitri and ably supported by Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan as Savitri’s polygamous husband Gemini Ganesan, Mahanati won both paludits from the critics and public  alike.

The Nag Ashwin directorial is a strong contender for the best actress and best cinematography categories, as per sources at the impending  66th national film awards, to be announced in July.

Keerthy Suresh could not contain the happiness of the milestone Mahanati achieved and thanked team Mahanati in her Twitter handle.
