Liger, the upcoming Pan-Indian movie from the actor Vijay Deverakonda and the director Puri Jagannadh, is getting more and more craze as the days pass by. The film Liger created havoc already with the trailer. Later, the Liger attitude song Waat Laga Denge created madness among the public and increased the craze much further. Liger is going to be released on August 25th worldwide. The lead actors of Liger, Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, are currently promoting the film in different cities under the name “Fandom Tour”. On the other hand, the villain of the film, Vishu Reddy, is also actively participating in the promotion of the film. In a recent interview, Vishu Reddy revealed a few interesting things about Liger.
Liger promises to be a perfect sports action drama, as seen from the trailer of the film. But the antagonist of the film, actor Vishu Reddy, says that Liger is not a sports film at all. “I have learned martial arts for many years. A few years back, Puri Jagannadh sir narrated a script to me. I am so happy to collaborate with Puri sir. That script turned out to be Liger today. I played an arrogant fighter in Liger. Though Liger presents Vijay Deverakonda and me as professional boxers, Liger is not a sports drama. MMA is just a backdrop to set up the film. The film is a pure mass-action commercial entertainer. Liger has Puri sir’s mark and it will surely be loved by all kinds of audiences,” said Vishu Reddy in an interview.
Besides being an actor, Vishu Reddy is also the CEO of Puri Connects. Liger is produced by Puri Connects in association with Dharma Productions. Puri Jagannadh, Charmee Kaur and Karan Johar are the producers. Liger is going to be released this August on the 25th worldwide.
