Multistarrer movies have always been the rage in Tollywood and if the actors happen to be from the same family it is even more special. Tollywood audiences are in for a treat as King Akkineni Nagarjuna and Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya are coming together once again for the upcoming movie Bangarraju after their previous superhit collaboration Manam back in 2014.
Bangarraju was announced earlier this year and the shoot is progressing at a rapid pace. The team have shot diligently and completed a substantial portion of the movie in quick schedules. While Nagarjuna is shuffling between Bigg Boss and Bangarraju, Naga Chaitanya wrapped up the Thank You movie and jumped onto Bangarraju. Yesterday on the eve of Chaitanya’s birthday, the makers revealed his first look and it went viral instantly. Today, on his birthday the makers have finally released the teaser of the movie too. The fans are ecstatic to see their favourite star in an all new effervescent avatar. Check out the first look below :
Bangarraju is the sequel to 2016 superhit Soggade Chinni Nayana and is directed by Kalyan Krishna who helmed the latter. Ramya Krishna will be reprising her role from the first part and Uppena fame Krithi Shetty is playing the love interest of Naga Chaitanya. Anup Rubens is composing the music. Bangarraju is produced under the banners Annapurna Studios and Zee Studios. The movie is speculated to be released on the occasion of Sankranthi next year. Naga Chaitanya on the other hand is currently awaiting the release of Thank You movie directed by Vikram K Kumar. King Nagarjuna is also shooting for his upcoming high octane action thriller Ghost directed by Praveen Sattaru.
