The pandemic affected the release of many films in all languages. Many films were postponed. Mostly the Pan-Indian films had a great loss. Films like RRR and Radhe Shyam had been postponed. Here comes the latest update from Sandalwood, Kichcha Sudeep’s Vikrant Rona also gets postponed.
Vikrant Rona is an action and adventure thriller, written and directed by Anup Bhandari. The film stars Kichcha Sudeep, Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles. The film is produced by Jack Manjunath and Shalini Manjunath under the banner of Shalini Artss. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music for the film.
The film’s shoot was started on 1st March 2020. After many schedules and postponements in between due to COVID, it took two long years for the completion of the film. The film was made on a massive scale and was planned to be released in 3D on 19th August 2021 in multiple languages across India. But the release was delayed and the makers finally locked 24th February 2022 to release the film. The pandemic scare once again affected the release of the film and the makers postponed the film again.
The makers of the film, Shalini Artss wrote the same on their Twitter handle. “The present COVID scenario and the prevailing restrictions are not favourable for a grand release across the globe. We will soon announce the new date,” the makers wrote on Twitter.
#VikrantRona will meet you on a newer date.

Vikrant Rona was shot in Kannada. But the film was planned to be released in multiple languages across India as a Pan-Indian film. So the makers of the film postponed the release until the pandemic gets settled and the theatres get reopened with full occupancy across India.
