When KGF Chapter 1 first released it did so only in Kannada, but the reception by the critics and audiences were so huge that it was quickly dubbed into multiple languages. What followed next was nothing short of a miracle, with the movie becoming one of the biggest hits and also the highest grossing Kannada movie. Yash starred as the titular protagonist, Rocky and will be reprising his role for the sequel and conclusion KGF Chapter 2 as well.
KGF Chapter 2 is supposed to be released in October 2020, however it looks like the release date may be postponed. The lockdown which began on March 24th has severely affected progress of many movies and there is a high likelihood that the Yash starrer may be postponed further. Executive producer Karthik Gowda took to twitter to share an update with the fans. Director Prasanth Neel and Music Composer Ravi Basrur were in a studio in the picture quite busy with their music sessions. In all likelihood, it looks like the team is working on the background score at the moment. The background score for the first part was one of the main highlights of the first part.
