Tamil actor Karthi could not be more happier as he welcomed a second child into his family. Karthi and wife Ranjani are blessed with a baby boy on Tuesday and Karthi let everyone know the mom and the baby boy are hale and hearty. Karthi and Ranjani already have a daughter named Umayal.
Karthi took to Twitter to let everyone know about the happy news. He wrote “Dear friends and family, we are blessed with a boy baby. We can’t thank enough our doctors and nurses who took us through this life changing experience. need all your blessings for the little one. Thank you god (sic!)”

Suriya, who is the elder brother of Karthi could not contain his excitement about the news and took to social media as well to let everyone know about his happiness. Karthi and Ranjani were married in 2011, in a grand wedding which took place in Coimbatore. Karthi and Ranjani welcomed Umayal into their family in 2013.

On the professional front, Karthi is currently busy with Sulthan, the shooting for which recently wrapped up. Directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, the film, produced by SR Prabhu, has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
