The second wave of Coronavirus in the country is fast spreading leaving India to be a highly vulnerable country in the world. While the first wave is shown to have moderate effects, the second wave is devastating. Each state in the country has imposed lockdown measures and started vaccination to curb the virus spread. Owing to high populations, safety protocols have to be strictly adhered to stay safe. The virus is rapidly spreading affecting the prominent actors and actresses alike. In the latest, Kangana Ranaut who recently tested positive for COVID 19 updated about her health today.
Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram and updated a story. She wrote “Hello everyone today I tested negative for covid, I want to say a lot about how I beat the virus but I am told not to offend covid fan clubs…Yes there are actually people out there who get offended if you show disrespect towards the virus…Anyways thanks for your wishes and love(sic.)” Kangana also shared a video on her journey in fighting the virus. She captioned “Fighting Covid I am not an expert on covid but sharing my journey of fighting the virus, hope it helps (sic.)”

On the work front, Kangana is currently awaiting the release of Thalaivi which is postponed due to the second wave of Coronavirus. The makers initially planned to release it on 23rd April, 2021. However, an official announcement about a new release date is yet to be announced. Thalaivi is a biopic of Late J. Jayalalithaa, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and her phenomenal journey from an actress to a politician. The film is directed by ace director A. L. Vijay. Thalaivi is simultaneously made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
