Kajal Aggarwal is one of the leading actresses in the South Indian movie industry and has meticulously built up a reputation over the years for being a bankable star. The lockdown meant Kajal Aggarwal could not go for shooting schedules even if she wanted to because of the strict rules. Kajal made use of the time during the lockdown to rack up some serious cooking skills and also cooked an Andhra style meal because she was missing the food from her shoot life.
However, Kajal Aggarwal seems to have resumed work as news about her taking part in a shoot for a popular brand is circulating. Kajal took part in the shoot by following all the necessary precautionary measures like using personal protective equipment (PPE) kits, face masks and gloves. The social distancing rules were strictly followed by the crew and cast present on the set.

On the professional front, Kajal Aggarwal is currently working on Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya. Kajal Aggarwal was roped in to replace Trisha Krishna who opted out of the film citing creative differences. Recently there were rumours about Kajal Aggarwal walking away from Acharya as well but her management team quickly put the rumours to rest by clarifying Kajal is not walking away from the movie.
Acharya which is being directed by Koratala Siva, is being bankrolled by Ram charan and Niranjan Reddy. The film is scheduled to be released on August 14th, 2020. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this film too might get delayed. Ram Charan might be seen in an extended cameo and quite an important role in Acharya.
